To supplement its own Global Services organization, Business Objects has developed the Authorized Consulting Partner (ACP) Program to provide a common, globally applied but locally implemented, consulting framework to ensure certain levels of customer satisfaction are met on a consistent basis.

Join the Authorized Consulting Partner Program
The ACP Program enables you to leverage proven best practices and intellectual property created by Business Objects Global Services for the delivery of business intelligence engagements. To ensure your consultants are the best in the industry, Business Objects offers ACP partners advanced training and accreditation, joint delivery of customer engagements and account opportunity developments.
Program Benefits
- Participate as a virtual extension of Business Objects Global Services.
- Deliver pre-packaged consulting engagements such as Business Objects Implementation kits as well as custom engagements.
- Access to online educational resources and online training.
- Access to Business Objects Business Intelligence Solution Accelerator (BISA) which includes best practices and methodologies created by Business Objects' 1000 consultants.
- Exposure and credibility as a recommended consulting partner.
- Placement on www.businessobjects.com as an authorized consulting partner via the partner locater pages.
Solution Selection
Partners nominate the Business Objects solution areas within which they wish to work. They will fall broadly into the following three areas: Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Enterprise Information Management (EIM), and Information Discovery and Distribution (IDD).
Certification
As part of the qualification to become an ACP, partners must have a minimum of 60% of personnel who will work under the ACP Agreement certified or accredited in the relevant Business Objects products.
The certifications and accreditations that are currently available are listed below:
- BOCP - BusinessObjects Enterprise
- BOCP - Crystal Reports
- BOCP - BusinessObjects Data Integrator level 1
- BOCP - BusinessObjects Data Integrator level 2
- BOCP - BusinessObjects Data Quality level 1
There are also additional requirements for accreditation on the Business Objects implementation methodology and delivery quality targets.

Application Process
If you are interested in joining the ACP Program, please fill out the ACP Program membership application form.
Partners are selected for membership to the ACP Program by Business Objects Global Services following receipt of a completed ACP Program membership application form and consultation with local Global Services and Business Objects Alliances management. A key part of this selection process will be a review of the skills and capabilities of the partner and how these align with the regional Global Services organization to drive value and reach in customer implementations.
