Internationally Renowned Business Intelligence Expert to Focus on Company Strategy and Vision

In this position, Gile will play an important role in helping define the ongoing Business Objects vision and strategy. Gile will report to Bernard Liautaud, founder, chairman of the board, and chief strategy officer at Business Objects.
Gile is an internationally recognized expert on BI, information management, reporting and analysis, and end-user segmentation. Most recently, Gile was principal analyst in Forrester's Information Delivery research group, covering information management, data management, and business intelligence (BI). Gile has extensive experience as a consultant to leading corporations and government organizations about BI industry trends, BI architecture, best-practices, technology selection, acquisitions, and product development. Prior to joining Forrester Research, Gile spent over fifteen years in the business intelligence and data warehousing industries, managing the development of complex decision support systems and technology education products and services.
