Jackie Magno
Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Jackie Magno is senior vice president and chief information officer of Business Objects, an SAP company. In this role, she is responsible for increasing the strategic value delivered by IT to the Business Objects board area. Magno is co-sponsor of Process and Systems Integration, focused on aligning the applications and technology landscape of SAP and Business Objects. She reports dually to John Schwarz, CEO of Business Objects and member of the Executive Board of SAP AG, and Uwe Herold, chief information officer of SAP AG.
Previously, Magno was vice president of IT Applications for Business Objects, responsible for improving IT and business alignment, streamlining applications, and improving support infrastructure.
Prior to joining Business Objects, Magno held various executive roles with General Electric Corporation, Novell, Inc., and IBM, with responsibilities for quality management, regulatory affairs, and technology-based business improvement.
Magno holds a master's degree in business administration from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Purdue University, in Indiana.
