Sheri Anderson

As group vice president and CIO, Anderson leads Business Objects' worldwide IT organization, including the strategic design and deployment of the company's enterprise applications, internal client support, technology infrastructure, and IT governance. In addition, she also serves as a member of the company's executive committee.
Anderson is 25-year veteran of the technology and financial services sectors and brings a strong track record to Business Objects. Prior to joining Business Objects, Anderson most recently served as the CIO for Xilinx, the worldwide leader of programmable logic solutions, and before that, held several senior-level positions at Novell, a leading provider of infrastructure software and services. Anderson served as Novell's CIO for five years before becoming the general manager of Novell Customer Services, where she was responsible for the company's technical support, education, and consulting businesses.
Anderson's prior experience also includes 10 years with Charles Schwab & Company in a number of senior IT roles focusing on operations, telecommunications, and client server development. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and also serves on the board of directors for Raley's Family of Fine Foods.
